D2000 series wire-to-board IDC connectors feature a mounted height as low as 6.9 mm and a thickness as thin as 4.8 mm. It is suitable for a wide range of electronic applications such as Blu-ray disc players, gaming consoles, and communication equipment. Through-hole and surface mount polarized headers in 2 through 16 positions provide an easy to assemble, friction-lock system. The top-entry SMT headers are also offered with Kapton tape for ease of pick-and-place vacuum nozzles. This connector system is an ideal alternative to the crimp-and-poke PH series for expedient and easy cable assemblies.

As part of value-added services, JST also offers standard assemblies with the applicable D2000 series connector on each end in both 1-to-1 and 1-to-N wiring orientations. These assemblies are in 2", 4", 6", 8", 10", and 12" lengths utilizing 26 AWG blue dual-rated UL1061/10002 wire in each of the circuit sizes from 2 through 16 positions. Custom lengths, wire colors, and configurations are available upon request.
